How We Fix Your Problem

State-Of-The-Art Integrated Treatment

The Comprehensive approach represents the culmination of years of careful study and experience — using the most effective methods of treatment that have been proven both by scientific study and in clinical practice. You will receive a combination of the following:

Standard Chiropractic Care

Spinal Manipulation Therapy
Standard chiropractic care concerns itself mainly with promoting optimal spinal alignment/function and healthy nervous system function. Without accomplishing both, recovering from injury and staying healthy are impossible. Gentle, precise manipulations are delivered to relieve pain, promote optimal joint alignment/mobility and protect the body from further injury.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy used to treat somatic (muscle/tendon) problems and the resulting pain/restriction of motion. The technique is carefully applied by the doctor to release muscle adhesion and tightness. The benefits include relaxation of contracted muscles, increasing circulation and lymphatic drainage, and stimulating the stretch reflex of muscles and overlying fascia.

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is a technique that involves applying sustained pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction.  Trigger points points are believed to be one of the causes of stiff joints and restricted range of motion. They are also referred to as muscle knots.

Mulligan Mobilizations

MM
MM is a manual therapy treatment technique in which a manual force, usually in the form of a joint glide and usually strap assisted is applied to a joint and sustained while the impaired action is performed. The technique is applied only when the joint can move freely without pain or impediment during the mobilization.

Acupuncture

Medical Acupuncture
Acupuncture encourages the body to promote natural healing and improve function. This is done by the doctor when he inserts very thin needles and applies heat or electrical stimulation at precise acupuncture points.  The acupuncture points stimulate the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord and brain.  These chemicals will either change the experience of pain, or they will trigger the release of other chemicals and hormones which influence the body's own healing and regulating systems.

Graston Technique®

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
Graston is an innovative form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions.  The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.

Joint Mobility Enhancement

Joint Mobilization
This is a powerful technique for providing lubrication to stiffened joints and increase motion in areas of joint restriction. By imposing movement into restricted planes of joint motion, otherwise stiffened joint capsules are stretched and lubricated. Both overused and arthritic joints enjoy diminished pain and increased motion following treatment.
